Twin Freaks - Clay Sculpture

Here’s the Plastiline clay sculpture for my Twin Freaks mask seen here:

The skin pores and fine wrinkles were applied individually by laying clingfilm food wrap over the sculpture and then dragging on the detail with a wooden cocktail stick. The pimply gooseflesh effect was created by thinning the clay with lighter fluid and then dabbing on each pimple with a small brush.

All these pictures were originally photographed on 35mm film, printed as actual photos and then scanned in so they could appear here, so please excuse the dust, scratches and film grain!
